Original Items. One-of-a-Kind Group. Colin Luther Powell was an American Army general, diplomat, and statesman who was the 65th United States secretary of state from 2001 to 2005. Originally a member of the Republican Party, he was the first African-American to hold the office. He was the 15th national security advisor from 1987 to 1989, and the 12th chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1989 to 1993.
This is a great group including an embroidered 4-Star General’s BDU Cap dated 1989, a set of two 4-star General pins with butterfly catches, and a nameplate reading POWELL. The group comes with no paperwork certifying it as Powell’s.
The BDU cap retains its tag:
CAP COMBAT, BDU
DLA100-89-B-0001
8405-00-123-3166
SIZE: LARGE
The BDU cap is in great shape without much service wear. This is an outstanding set that would make for a great display.
