Original Item: Only One Available. This is a totally original authentic German WWII Wehrmacht Heer Army Camp Flag, measuring a modest 38" x 24". With no proper flagpoles, flags such as these were made with small fabric ties on the end, so they could be attached to virtually anything in the field.
The design is essentially a smaller version of the standard NSDAP party flag, with a large Swas (Hook Cross or Swas) in the center of a white circle on a red field. This example made of or linen, the standard materials for flags of the period.
Condition is very good, with the expected age toning. The construction is multi-piece, with sewn on white circles, so the flag displays correctly from either direction. A very nice small German flag, ready to display!
