Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a totally original authentic German WWII Wehrmacht Heer Army Camp Flag, measuring a modest 23" x 31". This example has a header with a folded over sleeve, so it could be easily mounted to any number of structures. There is a piece of thin twine inside the sleeve, which we assume was used to hang it up at some point.
The design is essentially a smaller version of the standard NSDAP party flag, with a large Swas (Hook Cross or Swas) in the center of a white circle on a red field. This example made of or linen, the standard materials for flags of the period.
Condition is very good, with the expected age toning. The construction is multi-piece, with sewn on white circles on each side, so the flag displays correctly from either direction. A very nice small German flag, ready to display!
