  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice service worn WWII German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO's Belt with Steel Buckle (Koppelschloß). The buckle is embossed with the Heer motto GOTT MIT UNS ("God with us") surrounding a NSDAP Party Eagle. Nice fieldgrey painted steel construction box buckle with a smooth background. The buckle is in good condition, with probably 60% of the original paint present, with the expected wear and oxidation.

The belt is marked H.A. / 41 by the retaining loop, indicating manufacture by Hermann Aurich of Dresden, Germany. As it was made in 1941, this buckle most likely never had a leather tab, as they were removed from the official design in that year.

The thick leather belt is in good condition, and is marked 5 41 F.U. on the leather, and L&F on the clip. The belt has definitely been shortened by about 5 inches, and now measures about 33” when fully extended, the buckle end is stamped 95 on the buckle end, indicating a size of 95cm / 37.4 inches. The exterior still shows the correct black finish, with brown on the interior, though it definitely shows wear.

This piece has loads of history, and would be a great addition to any German WWII collection!
