Original German WWII Wehrmacht Army Heer Belt with Steel Buckle by R. Sieper & Söhne

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO's Belt with an excellent condition Steel Buckle (Koppelschloß). The buckle is embossed with the Heer motto GOT MIT UNS ("God with us") surrounding a NSDAP Party Eagle. The buckle a nice 1940 pattern olive painted steel construction box buckle with a smooth background. The paint is present on over 90% of the of the buckle exterior, with just a bit of storage wear. Truly an excellent example.
The back of the buckle is nicely stamped with maker mark R. S. & S., for R. Sieper & Söhne of Lüdenscheid, Germany, a city with a very large garment accessories industry. There is no tab on the buckle, but it most likely was made after 1941, when the tabs were removed from the pattern to save time and leather.
The black finished belt itself measures about 37” in overall length, and is marked 95 on one end, for 95cm, which is about 37.4 inches. It also has a RBNr. marking on the clip and, and the paint on the clip matches the buckle. The belt looks good, but some areas look to have had water exposure, and are now quite stiff and dried out. particularly near the buckle end.
