Original German WWII Wehrmacht Army Heer Belt with Pebbled Aluminum Buckle

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht (Heer) Aluminum EM/NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) with original leather belt. The buckle is embossed with the Heer motto GOTT MIT UNS ("God (is) with us") around the Wehrmacht Reichsadler (State Eagle). Nice aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in very good condition, and is a single piece cast and crimped example. This buckle was originally painted the standard Heer gray, but that is only present on the reverse now. The front has all the paint worn away, along with some of the detail in the eagle. The buckle still has the leather tab, but the maker is unfortunately no longer visible due to age and wear.
The thick leather belt is in good condition and does not appear to have had any major damage or alterations. It measures 37.5” when fully extended, the buckle end is stamped 95 on the buckle end, indicating a size of 95cm / 37.4 inches. The leather looks to originally have been black on the outer side, though the finish has partly worn off. There is some cracking and the leather is stiff, however it is still very solid and looks great.
Overall condition is very good with an exception eye appeal. Ready to display!
