Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great piece of German WWII field gear, a small kerosene heater meant for use in a vehicle or bunker, with a removable cover. The wick on this example is singed, showing actual use in the field.
The base of the heater is marked with a 1943 date of manufacture. The wheel on the side controls the length of the wick, which is retractable. The outer shell is embossed:
KEIN BENZIN
ODER BENZINHALTIGEN
KRAFTSTOFF VERWENDEN
BRANDGEFAHR!
The unit measures 7½” tall when closed with a 3⅜” base diameter. This would be a great addition to any German WWII collection. Comes ready for further research and display!
