Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice Original German WWII Mid-War Style National Socialist Party Armband, brought home by a U.S.G.I. after the war. The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920.

The party's last leader, Adolf AH, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.

This standard armband was worn by members, and was also worn by many service members and other personnel during the war. It is unissued condition, with only some fold marks as well as some light dirt staining from storage. The armband measures approximately 15 1/2" x 4 1/8", with the ends sewn together. It is of multi-piece construction, unlike later variants, which were printed onto the armband. The black Swas (Hook Cross) is made from two pieces of cloth, folded and sewn to the white background, which is a separate piece as well. This is sewn to the standard red background armband.

The inside still features the original RZM tag which is still lightly attached, and somewhat torn and faded. The tag has a correct “B” tax code and features the RZM logo as well as the ink stamped numerical designation of the Hersteller (manufacturer) A4 / 23 over lot No. 194481.

This is an excellent unissued example of a mid-war NSDAP multi piece Party Armband, complete with RZM label and issue stamp, ready to add to your collection!
