Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice Original German WWII Mid-War Style National Socialist Party Armband, brought home by a U.S.G.I. after the war. The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920.

The party's last leader, Adolf AH, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.

This standard armband was worn by members, and was also worn by many service members and other personnel during the war. It is unissued condition, with only some fold marks from storage, and measures approximately 15" x 4 1/4", with the ends sewn together. It is of multi-piece construction, unlike later variants, which were printed onto the armband. The black Swas (Hook Cross) is made from two pieces of cloth, folded and sewn to the white background, which is a separate piece as well. This is sewn to the standard red background armband.

At the bottom right edge of the white circle, there is a very nice NSDAP Ink issue stamp, which shows the Reichsadler (National Eagle) in the center, with "Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" at the top, and "Ortsgruppe" at the bottom, though we unfortunately cannot make out any more of the bottom line. This indicates which administrative division the armband was issued to.

The inside still features the original RZM tag which is still lightly attached. The tag has a correct “B” tax code and features the RZM logo as well as the ink stamped numerical designation of the Hersteller (manufacturer) A4 / (B. 18/1743) over lot No. 443851.

This is an excellent unissued example of a mid-war NSDAP multi piece Party Armband, complete with RZM label and issue stamp, ready to add to your collection!
