Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice Original German WWII Mid-War Style National Socialist Party Armband, brought home by a U.S.G.I. after the war. The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920.
The party's last leader, Adolf AH, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.
This standard armband was worn by members, and was also worn by many service members and other personnel during the war. It is crisp unissued condition, and measures approximately 13.5" x 4", with the ends sewn together. It is definitely one of the rarer types, with a red background with a fully embroidered BeVo style Swas (Swas) machine woven into the band. It has a lovely texture and sheen to it.
The inside still features the original RZM tag which is also crisp and perfect. The tag has a correct “B” tax code and features the RZM logo as well as the ink stamped numerical designation of the hersteller (manufacturer) A4 over lot No. 496020. For some reason the unique contractor number was omitted, but this is definitely the real deal.
This is a pretty much MINT example of a mid-war embroidered Party Armband. A rare type of NSDAP armband, complete with RZM label, ready to add to your collection!
