Original German WWII Unidentified Unit Embroidered Insignia Pennant Flag - 9" x 10"

Original Item: Only One Available. Well this is something that we definitely struggled a bit with, which we received as part of a large lot of USGI bring back items several years ago. It appears to be a small pennant / flag (wimple), possibly for a vehicle, which was custom made to represent a specific unit. It has a white field with a red border around the outside, and a small black "static" swas (hook cross) inside a red square border in the canton. The center of the pennant shows an interesting circled arrow piercing what looks to be some type of wings. We searched all type of Aviation units, and unfortunately came up blank. All of the insignia are embroidered, so this was definitely not something made on a whim. It is made from several layers of fabric, like most pennants, and has a sleeve in the header, probably for a metal pole that is now missing. It measures approximately 9" x 10".
Condition is good, showing damage from use, weathering, and probably insects of some sort. Definitely a fantastic research opportunity here!
