Original Item: Only One Available. The 8.8 cm Flak 18/36/37 is a German 88 mm anti-aircraft and anti-tank artillery gun from World War II. It was widely used by Germany throughout the war, and was one of the most recognized German weapons of that conflict. Development of the original model led to a wide variety of guns.
These round fragments are totally inert and deactivated following guidelines provided by the ATF. These examples are offered in great condition period alterations by soldiers who captured them. Like all deactivated ordnance, these items are Not Available for Export.
This is a fantastic pair of G.I.-made trench art items constructed from parts of German Flak 88 shells. The first is a shell casing ashtray with fantastic retained markings on the bottom:

There is some cracking in two of the arms as shown with heavy wear overall.
The second item is a great salt/pepper shaker made from a Zt.Z.S/30 fuze, marked dpv 1942, for manufacture by Zeiss-Ikon, Dresden.
