Original German WWII Tank MG 34 MG 42 Ammunition Belt Drum Box

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very rare machine gun ammunition box designed to carry six belt drum inside Panzers, Half Tracks and other vehicles known in German as a Gurttrommeln Kasten für Fahrzeuge. The box is painted in the standard late war ordnance tan paint, on the front is stenciled in black 'MG-Munition'. It is also maker marked with the letter code epb for Böhmisch-Mährische Maschinenfabrik AG who produced tanks and other vehicles.
The box was designed to contain six MG 34 or MG 42 ammunition belt drums or baskets, the box is complete with its original often missing inner-frame. The metal box measures approximately sized 17" x 10" x 6". Carrying handle and both closing clasps are present and functional. The metal box is in overall very good condition and will be an excellent display piece. This is a very rare and hard to find box!
