Original German WWII SS Overseas Side Cap with Insignia Removed

- Original Item: Only One Available. Excellent condition WWII German SS Side Cap for “Other Ranks” Personnel, Vet Family Acquired. This cap is produced in field grey wool. The Totenkopf (death Head Skull) and eagle insignia were removed in order to "sanitize" the hat. The outlines of both insignias and stitching can be easily seen. This cap would be a good candidate for restoration by reapplying original insignia. The interior is fully lined. It is ink stamped size 59 with maker name which has faded. A very affordable and desirable overseas German other ranks SS said cap.
