Original German WWII Set of Three Officer's Leather Holsters - Walther P38 and Two 7.65 High Front

Item Description

Original Items: Only these three available. These is a set of three different German WII era holsters, one for a Walther P38, and two for 7.65mm Pocket Pistols, one black and one brown. These come from a Collection of Pistol Holsters purchased by IMA, some with an old index card enclosed giving the model of the pistol and Serial Number of the pistol originally issued with the holster.

The first holster is a lovely black softshell leather holster, for the famous Walther P38 pistol, with the standard spare magazine pouch on the front side. It is marked marked with RBNr 0/0833/0007 indicating production by Hans Römer of Neu-Ulm, Donau. It is also marked P38 and has a NSDAP Police-style eagle, indicating production for police use, or possibly export.

This holster is in very good condition, and is quite soft and pliable, with a bit of finish checking in areas. Stitching is fully intact. Ready to display.

The second holster is a Black Leather flap top holster with spare magazine compartment to the front, and is the typical medium size "high-front" holster issued for the many 7.65mm pocket pistols used by officers. This would include the Walther PP, FN Browning 1922, and others. The rear shows a dvr / 1942 marking, as well as a faint Waffenamt marking.

The card in this holster states WWII  ISSUE FOR ?? (PROBABLY POCKET MAUSER) REWORKED AND REISSUED TO NORWEGIAN POLICE POST WAR.

Condition of the holster is nice, but worn, and does have some cracking to the finish, but overall it is supple. It also was originally brown, but was refinished at some point, most likely when it was reworked with a new belt loop.

The third holster is a Brown Leather flap top holster with spare magazine compartment to the front, and is the typical medium size "high-front" holster issued for the many 7.65mm pocket pistols used by officers. This would include the Walther PP, FN Browning 1922, and others. Under the top flap next to the magazine pouch there is a faint maker mark and 1941 date.

This holster is in used condition, with soft leather and some wear. The stitching has pulled out a little, and there is some cracking to the belt loop.

Three original German Officer's Holsters well marked, offered together.
