  • Original Items: Only these three available. These is a set of four different German WII era holsters, one for the 9mm Luger P08 Pistol and three for Medium-Large 7.65mm Pocket pistols, of which there were numerous in service. These come from a Collection of Pistol Holsters purchased by IMA, some with an old index card enclosed giving the model of the pistol and Serial Number of the pistol originally issued with the holster. This set of four however does not contain any index cards.

The first holster is a black contoured softshell holster for the P08 Luger, and is of the standard German made type encountered, with a spare magazine compartment on the side. This holster has a faint P08 stamped on the back, along with other issue markings. Condition of the holster is very good, with all stitching and rivets intact. The leather is soft and supple, and the pull strap to push out the pistol is still intact.

The second holster is a brown Leather flap top holster with spare magazine compartment to the front, and is the typical medium-large size "high-front" holster issued for the many 7.65mm pocket pistols used by officers. This would include the Walther PP, FN Browning 1922, and other larger frame examples. The rear shows a faint maker marking, with a 1944 date.

This holster is in good used condition, and has definitely seen quite a bit of action, evidenced by the deep brown, almost black color of some areas. However the stitching is all intact, and it presents very well.

The third and fourth holsters are both brown leather "break-away" type flap holster with spare magazine compartments to the front, and are the typical medium-small size "high-front" holster issued for the many of the medium-sized 7.65mm  pocket pistols used by officers. One has a 1938 date on the rear under the maker information and a Waffenamt. It has a card inside indicating it once housed a Mauser 1914/34 Transition model. The other is slightly larger, with an earlier 1934 date and Weimar/Police Eagle marking, all below the maker information.

Both holsters are in good used condition, with a lovely aged brown color. The stitching is all intact, with no major tears or other issues, as pictured.

Four original German Officer's Holsters well marked, offered together.
