Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a very nice small collection of German WWII Belt Buckles (Koppelschloßen), which was brought back from the European theater by a USGI after the war was concluded. Many solders traded these on the way back, and would end up with a pocket full of various different collectible items, and this set represents the typical "haul" one might have come back with.
This lovely set includes:
- One German WWII Plated Brass SA EM/NCO Belt Buckle. We are not sure why this was plated, as we almost always see these in brass, or part nickel and brass. It shows some wear through on the interior.
- One German WWII Early HJ National Youth Organization Nickel Belt Buckle - Damaged. This is marked on the back with (RZM) 36, and early style RZM number. It also is damaged, missing the adjustment "claw" on one side, and the loop on the other side has been modified.
- One German WWII NSDAP Leader Aluminum Belt Buckle by Christian Theodor Dicke. This Leibriemenschloß für Politische Leiter (Belt Buckle for Political Leader) correctly marked with an RZM circle and with the code M4 / 22. The registrant for this number is Christian Theodor Dicke, of Lüdenscheid, a German city which had a large number of companies who made buckles, buttons, and other clothing items.
A wonderful totally genuine grouping perfect for the German belt buckle collector, especially those who appreciate some real period wear. Ready to research and display!
