The Sd.Kfz.2 (German: Sonderkraftfahrzeug 2) is a half-track motorcycle with a single front wheel, better known as the Kleines Kettenkraftrad HK 101 (from German klein 'small' Ketten 'chains/tracks' and Kraftrad 'motorcycle'), shortened to Kettenkrad (pl. Kettenkräder). It was used by the military of NSDAP Germany during the Second World War.
This is a great relic of the Second World War, a recovered wheel from a “Kettenkrad” half-track motorcycle. The wheel is painted, but we aren’t sure if this was originally red. It measures 16⅛” in diameter and is 1” tall.
