Original Item: Only One Available. This is an original German WWII period political storm flag or banner, most likely associated with the SA, or Sturmabteilung. Constructed from red wool with applied white canvas roundels and black canvas mobile swas emblems, it is double sided and finished with bright silver bullion fringe along three edges.

The flag measures approximately 45" x 54". Both faces display separately applied white circular fields with sewn black mobile swas emblems. The three exposed edges are bordered with silver bullion fringe, which remains bright and in very good condition.

The hoist edge has no reinforced header, hanging loops, or other surviving attachment hardware. There is also no unit designation panel in the upper canton. Because of these absent features, the flag cannot be conclusively assigned to a specific SA unit. It may represent an unmarked SA Sturmfahne, or possibly an NSDAP Einheitsfahne or related political organization flag of similar construction.

The red wool field remains in attractive overall condition for its age and material, though it shows several tears and holes. The white canvas roundels on both sides display staining and age toning. The applied black emblems remain clearly defined, while the silver bullion fringe is notably well preserved and retains strong visual brightness.

Political flags of this type were used during rallies, marches, ceremonies, and other organized public events. Unit marked examples often carried a rectangular identification panel in the upper canton, while unmarked flags can be more difficult to assign to a specific formation or locality.
