Original German WWII Rural Polizei Shako by Hans Romer - Size 56cm

Original Item: Only One Available. 1936 Officers pattern Tschako with police field grey green doeskin body with patent finished brown top and visor. Has very fine quality police officer eagle with bullion wire cockade with chinstrap. A great Polizei helmet (shako) as used by the rural police. Exterior shows a few areas of wool loos above left ear area, but overall very nice condition.
Interior is fine, leather is supple and shows only light age. Size approximately 56cm (US 7). Maker marked decal on inner dome top that reads:

Vents are perfect condition with working slide closure on both sides. Wappen front plate appears to be secured by modern nuts on the interior. Overall it is offered in very good condition from one of Germany's best manufactures of the time.
