  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice 1936 Officers pattern Tschako with police field grey green felt body with patent finished brown top and visor. Has very fine quality police officer eagle with a 1937 dated metal cockade and  chinstrap. A great Polizei (Police) helmet (shako) as used by the rural police. Exterior shows a few areas of wool loss due to moth, but it is overall very nice condition.

Interior is fine, leather is supple and shows only light age, though the size adjustment string is missing. The size 57 is marked on the Maker marked decal on inner dome top that reads:

    HANS RÖMER
    Echt
    Fiber-Tschako
    57

    Neu-Ulm (Donau)

Vents are perfect condition with working slide closure for the front vents on both sides. Wappen front plate appears to be secured by the original brass nuts on the interior. Overall it is offered in very good condition from one of Germany's best manufactures of the time. Ready to display!
