Original German WWII Robert Lubstein Rural Polizei Shako by Erel - Size 55

Original Item: Only One Available. 1936 Officers pattern Tschako with police field grey/green doeskin body with patent finished brown top and visor. Has very fine quality police officer eagle with bullion wire cockade with chinstrap. A great Polizei helmet (shako) as used by the rural police.
Interior is fine, leather is supple and shows only light age, 193? ink stamp date visible on inner leather liner and size 55. Maker marked on inner dome top with Robert Lubstein and maker decal EREL, BERLIN, FIBER - TSCHAKO
Overall it shows only minor wear, does show some age to the lacquered finish in some areas with some light moth track in the wool, no holes. Vents are perfect condition with working slide closure. Overall a fine looking officer's Shako. Generally not available in this condition. It is missing the cockade and chinstrap so priced accordingly.
