Original German WWII Panzerfaust 60m Anti-Tank Rocket with Launcher

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. Panzerfaust 60 gross ("large") or Faustpatrone (Translated literally to mean: Tank Fist Large) was the third version of the Panzerfaust. This was the most common version, with production starting in September 1944. It had a much more practical range of 60 m (66 yd), although with a muzzle velocity of only 45 m (148 ft) per second it would take 1.3 seconds for the warhead to reach a tank at that range. To achieve the higher velocity, the tube diameter was increased to 5 cm (2.0 in) and 134 g (4.7 oz) of propellant used. It also had an improved flip-up rear sight and trigger mechanism. The weapon now weighed 6.1 kg (13 lb). It could defeat 200 mm (7.9 in) of armor.

This ingenious throw away Rocket and Launcher was one of AH's last ditch weapons adopted by the NSDAPs to try and repel the invading Allies on both the Eastern and Western fronts.

This example, acquired from a recently released private collection, has been demilitarized according to specifications by the BATF. The tube still retains much of the original dunkelgelb paint with some original red and black stenciling still visible. Original leaf sight and trigger assembly also still present. The original rocket is complete with the wood tail section without the fins. The head is also present but will not seat to the rocket base without further modification.

This is a very rare example and your chance to own an original panzerfaust 60M launcher and rocket set.
