This is a high quality rare example of a WWII German NSDAP National Socialist Rigid Flag Car / Automobile / Vehicle Wimpel (Pennant) on its original flag-pole and finial, which would have been flown on a small staff attached to the fender of the automobile or other vehicle. It is double sided and is of multi-piece cotton construction with heavy tight stitching, metal snap hooks, and red/white edge trim. Design is the standard red field with a stitched on white circle bearing the NSDAP Swas (Hook Cross), which is machine embroidered into the white circle. The flagpole is aluminum with a nickel or chrome plated alloy finial.

The pennant shows use and some staining. The stitchwork on the pennant is very impressive and makes for a stunning display. The pennant measures approximately 7 ¾ inches in hoist and 13 inches in fly. The pole measures 13 inches long with a 2 inch long finial.
