This is a very nice example of a WWII German NSDAP National Flag Car / Automobile / Vehicle Wimpel (Pennant), which would be flown on a small staff attached to the fender of the automobile or other vehicle it was attached to. It is double sided and is of multi-piece cotton construction with heavy tight stitching. Design is the standard red field with a white circles bearing black rayon machine embroidered NSDAP Swas (Hook Cross) insignia.

The pennant measures approximately 7 inches in hoist and 11 1/8 inches in fly, and features a white canvas header with a metal attachment clip at the top and a 12 inch long securing halyard at the bottom. It is in very good condition, showing light age toning, and there is very little wear of any kind.
