  • Original Item: Only One Set of Two Available. This is a very nice set of German WWII NSDAP National Socialist Party flags, consisting of a a small size rectangular flag and set of three medium sized pennants. During the WWII era the NSDAP was very committed to the use of flags and other symbols to solidify their influence in the country.

The small NSDAP National Socialist flag is double sided, with sewn on white circles bearing printed black swas emblems on each. It measures 9 1/8" x 10 3/4", with and while it is sewn around the edge, there is no sleeve to hang it with. The colors are still relatively vibrant, and it shows age toning and overall staining and wear from use, but no holes, tears, or major damage. We can see what look like tack marks on two of the corners, so that is probably how it was displayed.

The three NSDAP National Socialist Wimpelen (Pennants) are all single sided, printed on white fabric, and have a sewn on canvas header with small ties on either end. They are matching in size, measuring 7 1/2" x 11 1/4", and are relatively crudely constructed, probably intended for outdoor display during events. All show staining and wear from use, and it looks like some may have had things resting on top of them for a time, which has left some impressions in two of them.

A very nice German WWII NSDAP pennant and flag set, ready to add to your collection!

The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920.

The party's last leader, Adolf AH, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.
