Original German WWII NSDAP National Socialist Rigid Vehicle Staff Pennant Flag with Metal Snap Hooks - 8" x 14"

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a high quality rare example of a WWII German NSDAP National Socialist Rigid Flag Car / Automobile / Vehicle Wimpel (Pennant), which would have been flown on a small staff attached to the fender of the automobile or other vehicle. It is double sided and is of multi-piece cotton construction with heavy tight stitching, metal snap hooks, and red/white edge trim. It has a metal rigid support on the inside, which would keep it in display position. Design is the standard red field with a stitched on white circle bearing the NSDAP Swas (Hook Cross), which is machine embroidered into the white circle.

The pennant shows use and some staining, with some tearing near the tip where the internal frame ends. The pennant measures approximately 8 inches in hoist and 14 inches in fly.

Highly impressive and loaded with eye appeal, this is sure to make a great addition to any collection!

The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920.

The party's last leader, Adolf AH, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.
