Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German National Socialist Political Flag or Banner, which measures a very displayable 48 by 57 inches. These could be hung vertically or horizontally, and were displayed on buildings, on podiums during speeches, or sometimes even hung up at camps. It looks to be of all cotton construction, and is double sided, with a single piece cotton white circle with a dyed black Swas (Hook Cross) on each side. It has 5 metal hanger rings attached to one end, so it looks like it was made to hang vertically from that end. There were originally 7 rings, but two are now missing.

Condition of the flag is very good, with the colors still retained well, and minimal staining or other wear. There are a few small scattered holes, probably obtained during decades of storage.

The NSDAP, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (National Socialist German Worker’s Party), was originally founded in Munich as the DAP, Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (German Worker’s Party), on January 5TH 1919. When Adolf AH joined the DAP in the autumn of 1919 he was to reform what was basically a debating society into an active political party. Appointed as the first chairman of the party on July 29TH 1921 AH was to restructure it along para-military lines in a hierarchy of four levels of government.
