Original Item: Only One Available. Recently purchased at a militaria show, is this genuine USGI bring back German WWII NSDAP Podium banner. The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920.

The party's last leader, Adolf AH, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.

The banner is single sided and of multi-piece construction, with a black swas (hook cross) painted / printed onto a white canvas circle (one piece) stitched onto the red cotton background. This banner is a simplified design, so there is no white border around the central circle, and there is a fringe on the bottom, which feels and looks like rayon. It measures 31"L x 34"W, not counting the fringe on the bottom. There are sleeves at the top at the bottom where it would be attached to the podium.

The banner is offered in very good used condition, showing overall age toning, particularly noticeable on the central circle and fringe. There are also a few small wear holds on one of the fold lines.
