Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very good condition WWII German National Flag or Banner, which measures a large 33 inches wide by 96 inches tall. These were used inside buildings, or possibly on podiums during speeches. It is of wool construction, and is single sided with multi-piece 19" wide cotton white circle with a black Swas (Hook Crosse or Swas) sewn onto it. It has a hanging hem on one end, with no grommets, so this is most likely a banner, but it could be used as a flag as well.

Condition is very good, though it definitely does show wear and age. There are some small holes in areas, which look to be either light mothing or wear. There are also some areas of darkening, possibly from grease or dirt.

This would make the perfect backdrop for any German WWII Display.

The NSDAP, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (National Socialist German Worker’s Party), was originally founded in Munich as the DAP, Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (German Worker’s Party), on January 5TH 1919. When Adolf AH joined the DAP in the autumn of 1919 he was to reform what was basically a debating society into an active political party. Appointed as the first chairman of the party on July 29TH 1921 AH was to restructure it along para-military lines in a hierarchy of four levels of government.
