Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very good condition WWII German National Banner, which measures a very large 232 inches long by 53 inches wide, or 19.3 ft. by 4.4 ft. This is definitely one of the the largest that we have had, and it is almost certainly for hanging on the exterior of a building, or possibly on the interior. The banner looks to be of all cotton construction, and is double sided with a single piece cotton - rayon blend white circles with dyed black Swasses (Hook Crosses) on both sides. It is unmarked except for two number 8 markings near the top, which features a halyard rope running through the folded over top, terminating in loops on both ends.
Condition is very good, showing moderate age toning as well as fading from light exposure. There are no major holes or tears that we can see, just the usual wear from service and age. The insignia circles on both sides show some discoloration from age. This would be perfect for a WWII German wall display!

When Adolf AH joined the DAP in the autumn of 1919 he was to reform what was basically a debating society into an active political party.
