  • Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very interesting poster that was meant to be posted in the Weesperkarspel & Sloterdijk municipalities of the Netherlands alerting citizens of the executions of several Dutch saboteurs and terrorists who were involved in an undisclosed act of sabotage taking place on January 4th, 1945. The poster is posted in both the German and Dutch languages. The ᛋᛋ doppelte Siegrune (Double Sig/Victory Rune) insignia is a very interesting detail.

The poster in German and Dutch both roughly translates to

    Notice
    The Higher SS and
    Police Leaders North
    West Announces:
Because of the Acts of Sabotage
    Carried out near Weesper-
    Karspel and Sloterdijk in the
    Evening Hours of January 4,
    1945, a number of terrorists
    And saboteurs were publicly shot.

Tearing off or damaging this poster is a punishable offense.

This is a fascinating 16 ¼ x 11 ⅝” poster that truly outlines the horrific conditions countries under German control during World War II had to face, especially toward the end of the war like this poster outlines. This is a phenomenal piece of history and is ready for further research and display!
