Original German WWII Naval Water Sports Association Small Harbor Flag - 15 1/2" x 24"

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice example of a German WWII Era Naval small flag for Wassersport (Water Sport) Harbors, measuring a very displayable 15 1/2" x 24". It is made of what feels like a lightweight cotton and wool blend, and has a white canvas header on the left side. Inside this is a thin hemp halyard rope, with a torn through loop at the top and a 12" loose section at the bottom. It features the standard design of a black anchor with a white outline, with a white circle and black swas (hook cross) in the center.

The flag is in very good condition, with the colors well retained, however it definitely does show some color toning and fading. There are also a few small moth holes.

A very attractive an interesting German Naval flag from the WWII period, ready to research and display!
