Original Item: Only One Available. Genuine WWII German Kriegsmarine sailor’s Donald Duck hat. These caps were worn by all Junior NCO’s and enlisted men. Dark blue wool sailor's cap fitted with a black silk cap tally embroidered with the title Kriegsmarine in yellow thread. The tally is affixed by braided thread in three places, and a stickpin-style brass national eagle badge with an integral metal and composite rosette is affixed at front over the ribbon. The interior is fitted with a brown faux-leather sweat band and lined with dark blue fabric, bearing the gilt-printed label of maker H. Arnsberg of Beckum, along with two additional worn gilt labels. Also shows minor wear to the sweat band, but overall in very good to excellent condition. Size is approximately 56cm (7 US).
