  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely service used set of German WWII black mounted breeches, sometimes called 'Jodhpurs' or 'riding pants'. They were meant to wear with the tall jackboots, and have an unmistakable silhouette. While they are often associated with officers, they could also be worn by enlisted and NCO personnel. This set is made from lovely black "whipcord weave" fabric, which we assume to be at least partially wool. These could have been used by various different organizations, including the Allgemeine SS, NSKK, Panzer Armored Corps, and others.

The set is in very good shape, showing wear from use, and also some repairs due to service related wear. Some buttonholes have been re-stitched, buttons re-attached, and other signs of long use in service. The breeches have a button fly front closure with four "hidden" buttons with one above, which definitely shows repairs on both the button and buttonhole sides. There are size adjustment buckles on both sides, which are unmarked, and the hanging loop on the rear is present as well. There do not appear to be any buttons missing on this set. There are also faded size markings on the right interior, but we cannot read them.

The breeches feature diagonal slash waist pockets, as well as the usual "watch pocket" next to the front closure. There are two extensions with buttons on the rear inside for the attachment of suspenders, along with two buttons on the inside front right and left. The bottoms of the legs feature four button closures where they would go inside the tall boots.

These are in lovely service used condition, with wear and repairs, but otherwise they have held up well. There are some moth holes, but no major damage such as large tears. Really a lovely set that would display nicely as part of any number of different uniforms.
