Original Item. Only One Set Available. This is a really attractive example of an early NSDAP Period Pre-WWII German Mining Association Union uniform and cap set. The set consists of the beautiful uniform tunic with cowl and white gloves in the pocket and the tall pillbox-style cap.
The uniform has a lovely black cowl and velvet collar with miner insignia, and lovely tassel pieces to the sleeves with the miner’s insignia. There are no tags on the interior but there were a nice set of white gloves in one of the pockets. The jacket retains all of its buttons without any serious damage.
The included cap has gold rows to the top and bottom with a large miner’s badge to the front. The interior bears the same insignia over Carl Henkel / Bielefeld. There’s an old tag on the interior which may have been a name tag. There is fraying of the material and some other damage as well. The size is roughly 7.
We were able to find an old advert from around 1930 showcasing uniform items such as this, which we have printed and put in the pocket.
A scarce uniform set, the first we have offered, ready for further research and display.
