Original Item: Only One available. These are very rare, a totally original WW2 wooden transit chest for the MG 34 Light Machine Gun and accessories. It is in excellent condition and complete with all compartments. It is dated 1944.
Originally supplied to Portugal during WW2 these German made MG 34s were delivered in individual wood transit chests each designed to contain: Gun, four spare barrels in steel carriers, gunner's pouch containing spare bolt, Anti-Aircraft sight, sling, action cover, broken shell extractor, wrench, and many other tools and accessories.
This example in excellent condition is fully marked to the exterior and has all the compartments present with locking slats still in place. Ideal for storage of any high grade MG 34.
