Original Item: Only One Available! This is one of our original WWII issue MG34 display machine guns. It is coded along with multiple German wartime markings and has multiple waffen amts and serial number 5942 on the barrel jacket. The Barrel jacket also bears the manufacturer code "dfb" for Gustloff Co., Waffenfabrik in Suhl, where it was manufactured in 1941. The bakelite buttstock is the rare style with steel reinforced toes and nicely marked 714 i .
This is an excellent example of the most prolific German issued Light Machine gun of WW2. Comprised of nearly entirely original WWII parts, this weapon has been rebuilt on an original WW2 re-welded de-milled receiver without internal parts that has been replaced with solid steel bar-stock.
Of particular note is the very rare MGZ40 Optical sight which is has perfect functioning optics and is nicely marked dhq for the manufacturer J D Moeller, Wedel.
Also, included is an incredibly rare totally original WW2 1940 dated MG 34 Lafette tripod mount, complete with original German WW2 ranging plate. The mount is offered in excellent functional condition and has a very EARLY and is marked:
