Original German WWII Mess Kit Utensil Set Dated 1941-1943 - Steel and Stainless Steel

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely service used set of genuine WWII German Mess Kit Utensils - Knife, Fork, Spoon, and Can Opener. These lock together, making a perfect set for any WWII collector. Originally these were often issued in a felt case, however these are offered without one.
This set is mismatched, made up of components from several different kits, commonly seen by the end of the war, and one even has holes through the handle, which was designed for a different style of set, but still works just fine in this one. They all however have the correct Reichsadler eagle on the handle, indicating military issue. The stainless steel can opener / sleeve is marked FBCM 41, the stainless steel spoon is marked [GAG] 41. and the stainless steel fork is marked H.&K.H / 41 / ROSTREI. The knife is plated steel and marked on the handle with S / M / 43. These are all known makers of WWII cutlery.
All components are in service-used condition. showing some real wear from service, especially the knife, which shows oxidation and plating loss. This is a great set and typical of what soldiers would have been outfitted with later in the war, as supplies were dwindling.
