  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely set of genuine WWII German Mess Kit Utensils - Knife, Fork, Spoon, and Can Opener. These lock together, making a perfect set for any WWII collector. Originally these were often issued in a felt case, however these are offered without one. They also were modified slightly having holes drilled in the ends of the knife, fork, and spoon, probably so they could be hung up on a wall.

All of the components are stamped with the Heer Wehrmachtadler (Armed Forces Eagle), indicating that they are Eigentum der Wehrmacht (Property of the Wehrmacht). The can opener, fork, and spoon are marker marked with GAG in a rectangle, the marking of Gustav Auerswald, Besteckfabrik (Cutlery Factory), located in Grünhain, Saxony. Next to this marking are dates, with 41 on the spoon and 42 on the other two marked pieces.

All components are in very good service used condition, with some components showing the original factory polish intact. This is a very nice early war set from a quality maker, ready to display!
