Original German WWII M42 Single Decal Army Helmet - Shell Size 62

Original Item: Acquired directly from a New Jersey veteran’s family (along with many other items), this is a wonderful M42 Single decal army helmet with original paint, decal, liner, split pins/washers and chin strap.
The exterior exhibits a light amount of wear, with approximately 95% of the factory paint remaining. The authentic and original Heer adler decal is in fantastic condition showing lots of detail. Tight fitting liner system is 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners are intact and complete with all three slotted washers. The leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance nicely ink stamped size 54. Drawstring appears to be a replacement. Chin strap is totally original and in very good solid condition, nicely stamped:
