Original German WWII M38 Luftwaffe Paratrooper Helmet

Original Item: Only One Available. This is wonderful, barn found, Fallschirmjäger helmet retains 90% of its originally applied, dark green, rough texture combat finish. The shell is in very good condition with no damage or dents. It is comprised of 100% authentic WW2 parts and has never been dissembled or taken apart. The interior of the shell shows areas of rust from less than ideal storage conditions but is in very good condition.
The interior features a brown leather liner is size 56cm that shows wear and is separated at the main seam but all in all is solid. It is well marked and features a RBr number in stamped ink. It is nicely ink stamped with maker and size markings of the liner (56) and the shell (68) as follows:

Seen between the liner band the liner itself are the complete seven charcoal foam pads; the entire assembly is attached to the shell via four correct wartime original bolts.
Regrettably the chin harness is 60% rotted away.
