Original German WWII M38 Luftschutz Gladiator Air Defense Helmet - marked and dated 1938

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice original M1938 Beaded Luftschutz Gladiator German helmet. The exterior of this German helmet retains 90+% of the original dark blue paint. The helmet retains the original blue two part liner rivets. The Luftschutz decal is clean and 97% complete with only a couple very minor scuffs.
The inner skirt is maker marked RL2 - 38 / 28. In addition there is a paint stamp that reads:
Vertrieb genehmigt
gemäß § 8 Luftschutzgesetz
Kopfweite 57Höchstpreis RM 8.--
This stamp appears to be a distribution stamp, which translates to: Highest Price 8 Reichsmark. Distribution approved according to Section 8 Air protection legislation. Head Width 57.
Liner is of the imitation leather type, and has unfortunately degraded somewhat. The three large fingers have intact pads, but the top portion, where the securing string would be, has deteriorated. The chinstrap is missing.
Overall a very nice German WWII M38 Luftschutz helmet, ready to display!
