Original German WWII M38 Luftschutz Gladiator Air Defense Helmet in Near-Mint Condition

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent original M1938 Beaded Luftschutz Gladiator German helmet. The exterior of this German helmet retains about 98% of the original dark blue paint. The helmet retains the original split pin rivets. The Luftschutz decal is clean and 95% complete with only a couple very minor scuffs.
The inner skirt is maker marked RL2 39/21. In addition there is a decal inside that reads:

gemäß § 8 Luftschutzgesetz
[Kop]fweite 57
[Höchst]preis 8.50 RM.
This stamp appears to be a distribution stamp, which translates to: Distribution approved according to Section 8 Air protection legislation. Head Width 57. Highest Price 8 Reichsmark. Portions of the decal are missing, but we know what it would say from past examples.
The leather liner is complete and in very good condition, with a size 57 marking ink stamped. The leather is very soft and supple, and the top securing string is present. The chin strap is also in similar condition, with no cracking at all.
Overall a NEAR MINT complete German WWII M38 Luftschutz helmet, a fantastic example of this model helmet from World War Two.
