Original German WWII M38 Luftschutz Air Defense Gladiator Style Helmet

Original Items: Only one set available. This is an excellent original M1938 Beaded Luftschutz Gladiator German helmet. The exterior of this German helmet retains about 95% of the original dark blue paint. The helmet retains the original split pin rivets. The Luftschutz decal is clean and 85% complete but has some scuffs on the front side. Also the center portion was once painted over, which was removed, but the decal clarity is reduced.
The inner skirt is maker marked RL2 38/28. In addition there is a paint stamp that usually reads:

Höchstpreis RM 8.--
Some of the stamp has chipped off over time. This stamp appears to be a distribution stamp, which translates to: "Highest Price 8 Reichsmark. Distribution approved according to Section 8 Air protection legislation. Head Width 56. ."
Liner is mostly complete, and is the late war style made from rubberized fabric, with some leather fittings. The chin strap is also rubberized fabric, and does is torn through at one point.
Overall a very nice complete German WWII M38 Luftschutz helmet.
