Original Item: Only One Available. This is a great example of a genuine steel construction M34 "Square Dip" Third Reich helmet for German WWII civic police use. Features the genuine double decals of civic eagle and NSDAP swas. Comes with complete leather liner still intact and tight with all split pins intact. Leather chin strap is also intact and still in very good condition.
The exterior of this German helmet retains almost all of the original black paint, with some small chips and scratches. The NSDAP decal is 95+%complete, with just a scratch across the center keeping it from 100%. The civic eagle decal is also around 95%, with a spot of the black field below the eagle missing. This isone of the best we've seen on this type of helmet. There is no maker marking in the shell, but it is marked EDELSTAHL over the right ear, indicating it was made of "improved steel".
Overall a great opportunity to get a truly excellent example of a WW2 Civic Police helmet.
