Original German WWII M24 Stielhandgranate Transit Crate with Rope Handle & Functional Latch

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great WWII German transit crate for storage and transport of German stick grenades, time fuzes, and explosive caps The crate measures roughly 15 ½ x 20 ⅛ x 5 ⅞” and retains clear markings on the lid. The original latch still functions, and when the latch is undone, the lid is removable from the crate due to its design.

15 Spr. Kaps. Nr. 8
This denotes that the crate was meant to store 15 M24 stick grenades, 15 M24 time fuzes, and 15 Explosive Kaps. No. 8. The front of the crate has a Heeres Munition marking.
There are some cracks in the wood and overall staining and scuffing, but the crate is in overall good condition.
