Original German WWII Luftwaffe Summer Flying Suit by Schneider AG with LKP S101 Summer Pilot Flying Helmet by Siemens

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent original German WWII Luftwaffe summer flying ensemble consisting of a one-piece Fliegerschutzanzug für Sommer flight suit manufactured by Schneider A.G. and an original Siemens-labeled LKp S101 summer flight radio helmet in size 58. The suit remains in notably clean condition with very limited evidence of wear, while its original Rheinnadel zippers, PRYM snaps, internal manufacturer's markings, and intact Heisler-pattern emergency release system survive. The accompanying LKp S101 retains its original specification label and earcups, although the communications equipment and wiring have been removed.
The summer flying suit is constructed in a lightweight tan cotton material with a slightly mottled appearance and small white flecks throughout the weave. It is of the characteristic one-piece coverall configuration used by Luftwaffe flying personnel, with numerous zippered openings and pockets intended to provide practical access while seated in an aircraft. Leather reinforcement and metal fittings are incorporated into the construction.
The PRYM 6H snaps all work fine, and the zippers are functional, but please use caution when handling them. The interior flap is stamped:

This dates the suit to June 5th, 1942, manufactured by Schneider A.G.. The interior flap that covers the emergency release cord also bears a maker’s tag, reading:

It is rare to find an example with the tags retained like this. The pull ring and cord are in the original configuration and have not been undone and reattached. Pulling of the ring allows the suit to be taken off quickly in an emergency.

There are molded earcups in the ears, but no headphones. The lining is in great shape, as are the two leather chinstraps. The avionics system is entirely gone and the wire has been cut away long ago.
Taken together, the June 5, 1942-dated Schneider A.G. summer flying suit and size 58 Siemens-labeled LKp S101 helmet form an unusually complete representative Luftwaffe summer flying ensemble. The suit is particularly notable for its excellent preservation, functioning Rheinnadel and PRYM hardware, surviving Bauart Heisler / Friedrich Emmerich emergency-release label, and apparently undisturbed release cord, while the helmet retains its definitive 124-436 B / Ln 26617 specification label despite the loss of its communications equipment. The surviving construction details and markings provide substantial documentary value and make the set especially suitable for a complete Luftwaffe aircrew mannequin or specialized aviation collection.
