Original German WWII Luftwaffe Set of 2 Electrical Impact Fuses and Firing Pin - Well Marked

Original Items. Only One Set Available. This is an extremely scarce set of Luftwaffe bomb fuses and one firing pin. Each piece is very well marked and would make for a fascinating research project. From a 1946 publication on German Explosive ordnance, we believe the fuses to be Electrical Impact Fuses, and we have included some photos from the book in the listing. Like all deactivated ordnance, this set is Not Available for Export.
From the reference we have found, the Electric Impact fuse was designed for use against sea targets in SC bombs from 250 to 1,800 kg. It has also been found in SD bombs 50 to 500 kg and in the Flam C 250, and is employed in the 1400 FX bomb. A 250-kg bomb, with or without a shortened tail, has been fitted with this fuse for use as an anti-submarine bomb.
The two fuses measure 4 ¼” long with a 2” diameter. The firing pin is roughly 4 ½” long with a diameter of 1 ⅜”. The first fuse is marked clearly on the very top:

This is a really phenomenal set of WWII German fuses with a firing pin to match. The second fuse is painted green as shown but the paint is heavily worn. This set would go great with any German WWII collection. Comes ready for further research and display.
The Luftwaffe was the air force of Germany prior to and during World War II. Luftwaffe styles of uniform and rank insignia had many unique features between 1935 and 1945. By decision on February 26, 1935, the Luftwaffe was to be officially the third branch of the Wehrmacht as of March 1, 1935. The new Luftwaffe was faced with the problem of uniforms, as they wanted a uniform distinct from those of the other two branches of the Wehrmacht (Heer and Kriegsmarine) and also wanted a clear differentiation in dress of military and civilian flyers.
