Original German WWII Luftwaffe Pilot / Panzer Tanker Style Private Purchase Double Breasted Brown Leather Jacket

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely German WWII Private Purchase black leather jacket, which could have been used just as easily for a Luftwaffe Pilot or a Panzer Tanker. The double breasted front closure evokes the leather greatcoats worn during WWII, and gives it a great look. It is in very good condition, showing signs of moderate use during the war. This example has no loops for shoulder straps, and has normal buttons as opposed to pebbled ones. There is no type of Wehrmachtadler eagle present on the exterior, but there is a faint stamp on the interior with some size information.
The design is a private purchase, non-regulation, multi-panel black leather construction jacket, with a lovely large lay down collar. It is the standard waist length, and the leather is in very good condition, showing no major tearing, holes, or other major wear. The jacket features a double-breasted front closure with 5 buttons on each side. There are buttons and straps at the end of both sleeves to tighten the wrists. There are no exterior pockets but there is one large interior breast pocket. There are also small holes in the armpits for ventilation. There might be some buttons missing but it's a bit difficult to tell. There are five buttons on the left side, 4 in the middle, and two on the right.
The interior is partially unlined with thin black felt on some of the interior. There is a single interior breast pocket with stamped information over it:

There is some maker info but it’s too faded to read. Below this is an attached tag which also has the VII number on it, along with two names and other numbers. VII is likely the size, but there is more research to be done into this.
